About the Job

Electrical Calibration Job Summary

The ATS Calibrations department is accepting applications for an Electronic Calibration Technician full-time position. Regular inspection and maintenance of testing and measurement equipment is routine, with additional duties and responsibilities to be assumed when required. This is an exciting, specialized position with the opportunity to refine and progress one’s knowledge of Electronic Metrology. This opportunity is perfect for an individual who is performance driven and passionate about Calibrations!

About this Calibration Role

The Electronic Calibration Technician position is responsible for the calibration various of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment. Evaluation of equipment in accordance with defined standards is vital in ensuring the utmost accuracy. The reporting and analysis stages of the findings is rudimentary yet insightful, as it is necessary to understand the competence of the tested tools. Findings must be written and presented to clients in a manner which grasps in-depth and complete understanding. This provides clients with the necessary information in which allows them to make future decisions in relation to their equipment with confidence and certainty.

Although these duties constitute many of the everyday tasks, additional duties may be assigned as required.

This role may be either Laboratory or Field (On-Site).


Since the Electronic Calibration Technician will be applying knowledge of Metrology, technology, and electronics, prior experience in any facet of calibration services is strongly recommended. Education pertaining to Calibrations and the Metrology field is acceptable. In addition, the ideal candidate:

Experience working with electronic calibration tools and procedures, adhere to set requirements

Ability to critically think, well-honed problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills grounded in customer service

Capable of working with minimal supervision/guidance

Fundamental literacy of basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
