ATS is currently seeking talented, well-adept candidates to fill numerous open Electrical Calibration jobs available at the corporate office located in Marietta, Georgia. ATS Calibration services are approved by major leaders by multiple Aerospace, Automotive Military, and Nuclear companies, with services being directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. About this Position
In the Electrical Calibration Technician position, the candidate will perform routine yet distinctive adjustment and observation procedures to a variety of testing, measurement, and diagnostic electrical Calibration equipment. Inspected electrical equipment will include tools such as Capacitance Meters, Network Analyzers, and Temperature Controllers to ensure accurate reporting through maintenance and necessary repairs. Technicians are also responsible for providing clients with straightforward, in-depth results to ensure understanding of the electrical Metrology Calibration procedures followed. This is to provide our clients with a common comprehension and recognition of the facts uncovered during the Calibration procedures to make sure they receive truthful, actionable insights in regard to their equipment.
ATS requires candidates to have relevant experience working within Electrical Calibration services and/or a Metrology-related field to be considered. Education relevant to Calibration services is also encouraged. Other valuable traits for application consideration include:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of electrical diagrams and operating instructions
Application of analytical judgment in performing procedural Calibration work
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; simplification of technical vocabulary for client understanding
Foundational computer literacy skills, ability to use employed applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Willing to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
Electrical Calibration Technician positions can either be Laboratory or Field (On-site). Calibration field positions require daily travel, with most locations being within a 5-hour range of Marietta, Georgia. Overnight travel may be required (dependent on client needs and length of project).
The ATS Calibration Lab was established in 1987, providing full Calibration services throughout a dozen disciplines. The inception of the Calibration Lab permitted ATS to further diversify and expand its service offerings, allowing clients to divert the attention of their services to ATS. Abiding by ISO 17025 A2LA standards, the Calibration Lab is proficient in following critically-acclaimed Electrical Metrology procedures.
