About the Job
ATS is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill a management position to administer the Calibrations departments of all ATS locations. ATS is motivated to fill this Calibration Manager position with an individual who has a passion for Metrology and will assume this position with great zeal and determination. Calibration Manager jobs require a special sense of proficiency and expertise. In short, ATS seeks a candidate who is willing to take crucial action when needed.
About this Role
Calibration Manager jobs incorporate all Metrology functions into the planning, implementation, and evaluation of newly acquired business practices and objectives. Cross-functional participation and responsibility must be undertaken to generate favorable outcomes relating to the operations of Calibrations as a whole. The Calibration Manager will also be responsible for maintaining proficiency in the operations of much of equipment being assigned, serving as a reference point for the correct procedures and processes to follow. This position will also assume the responsibility of identifying progressive growth opportunities for ATS Calibrations.
This position will be based at ATS’s corporate office located in Marietta, Georgia.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
The desired candidate will be proficient in the Calibrations services ATS offers, possessing the ability to articulate and present appropriate knowledge when necessary. In addition, the suitable candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Minimum of 5 years experience in Metrology or Metrology-related field
Minimum of 10 years prior management experience
Extensive experience in adopted accreditation and followed Calibrations procedures and processes
Refined interpersonal and written communication skills

The ATS Calibrations Lab was established in 1987 to provide full service, dimensional inspection, and repair services to our diverse range of clients. The Lab follows procedures as defined by major Aerospace, Automotive Military, and Nuclear companies to ensure the necessary practices are being followed. In addition, the ATS Calibrations Lab is accredited to ISO 17025 by the A2LA to establish necessary relations with the respective organizations.
