To ensure accurate information is being reported from such tools, proper maintenance is vital to guarantee the effectiveness of processes being followed abide to necessary specifications and standards. Summary of Calibration Services
Positions within the Calibrations department involve the calibration, testing, and repairing of testing and measurement equipment. ATS offers services to calibrate larger items, such as Hardness Testers and Environmental Chambers, with specialization in automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.
Position will be based at ATS's corporate office located in Marietta, Georgia.
Both Labratory and Field (On-Site) positions are offered in our Calibrations department. As listed below, ATS's Calibrations department offers a wide range of different roles within Metrology:
Electronic Calibration Technician: involves Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment, reporting and analysis of test reports to conclude the suitability of equipment
Environmental Calibration Technician: involve Calibration of environmental measuring and test equipment (thermometers, relative humidity, wind velocity, etc.), reporting and analysis of test reports to conclude the suitability of equipment
Calibration Manager: also referred to as “Calibration Engineer or Supervisor”, requires years of experience with all specializations of ATS Calibrations to control all equipment and personnel
Applicants will be responsible for specific duties according to position. In general, ideal candidates possess:
Previous experience with Calibrations field is strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems independently, application of continually acquired knowledge
Strong time management skills, self-starter with ability to work under prudent deadlines
Basic computer knowledge and application skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
