Forensic Site Mapping & Simulation
ATS utilizes a robotic Total Station® in order to digitally record key aspects of an accident site, such as skid mark direction and length, area of impact, final rest position and other features of the site. The digitally captured data can be transferred into an Accident Reconstruction Simulation program known as Humans, Vehicles and Environments® (HVE®). The site and scene features will become a scaled backdrop for the accident simulation. The HVE® simulation is a physics based program, and not an animation.
