ATS and EPA 24 Testing

Applied Technical Services offers EPA 24 Testing utilizing multiple applicable methods allowed by the EPA 24 method. Such methods include Total Solids, Moisture Content, and Density. Supporting testing is available by GC/MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry) to identify the individual VOC species.

The method was established in 1984, when the Environmental Protection Agency recognized the need for a uniform standard. This standard mainly focuses on volatile matter in products like paint, varnish, lacquer, adhesives, and other surface coatings.
